Ming Chuan University has to be one of the top international universities in Taiwan that cater to foreigners. With various programs on the Taipei campus like Journalism & Mass Communication, International Business, Fashion & Innovation Management, and many more on Taoyuan Campus, the university has a huge spectrum of majors for English-speaking students compared to other universities. A great perk of International College is that all the courses are fully taught in English, so you don’t have to worry about communication difficulties with your professors. IC also provides the students with English classes in their freshman and sophomore years to make sure they pass a certain level of speaking, listening & writing skills. So even if you aren’t that confident in the English language, IC has got your back. A unique thing that I find interesting is that students also have a required Mandarin course, so it’s a great opportunity to learn a new language while you’re in the country. The teachers here are also very open-minded and some even treat you as friends, So, it’s not the typical traditional teaching system where you cannot speak out your ideas and opinions and just be passive in class.
