Taipei International Flora Exposition This Weekend The 2010 Taipei International Flora Exposition officially begins this weekend (11/6) and is open for 171 days. There are 548 MCU students who made time to work as volunteers during this period of time. The exposition will run daily from 11/6/2010 to 4/25/2011 from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. The admission charge is NT$200 for students who present a valid student identification card. Come along with your family and friends to enjoy this grand flower festival! Student Fee Payments Students who are enrolled in language and computer courses this semester must check in the Student Network Information System to see whether there are unpaid outstanding lab fees. Students may pay off the fees by credit card or ATM fund transfers. For those who wish to pay the fees in person may do so at any Taipei Fubon bank, post office or convenient stores with a printed fee payment form. Please note that payment deadline is next Monday (11/8). Students will be automatically dropped from the courses if the fees are unpaid. However, a refund for paid lab fees for course withdrawal will be made via fund transfer to students’ bank accounts on 11/8. 20 People-21 Feet Competition The annual 20 People-21 Feet Competition will be held on 11/5 (Friday) at noon at the Outdoors Athletic Fields on both campuses. Each team must be consisted of 20 members (10 men and 10 women). If weather condition is poor, the venue will be changed to the Indoor Gymnasium on Taipei campus and on the first floor of the Physical Education Building on Taoyuan campus. The winning team will receive a cash prize of NT$7000.
