The seminar will feature Chen Ching-Chieh, Director of Law and Policy at Amnesty International Taiwan, as the keynote speaker. Drawing from the perspective of international human rights conventions, the talk will explore the challenges of equality and human rights that Taiwan faces in advancing sustainable development, offering students and faculty diverse and critical perspectives.
In addition, the series includes screenings of the internationally acclaimed SDGs documentary Bigger Than Us:

- May 7 (Thursday), 12:30 p.m. – 3:00 p.m., Room D204, Taipei Campus
The film follows Indonesian youth leader Melati Wijsen and young changemakers around the world who are committed to transforming the status quo. From the favelas of Rio de Janeiro in Brazil, to remote villages in Malawi, to the island of Lesbos in Greece and Indigenous communities in the mountains of Colorado in the United States, these young people take real action to address global challenges, demonstrating the influence and sense of mission of a new generation.
The English Language Centre of Ming Chuan University stated that this series is not only about the transmission of knowledge, but also a starting point for action. Through diverse learning experiences, it aims to encourage students and faculty to reflect on their roles in global issues and to take part in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals.
