MCU has been actively planning establishment of overseas locations since 2016-17 academic year. Lee, Lan-Yu, Dean of International College, presented a special project report on international education overseas development at the Administrative Council Meeting on December 17, which indicated MCU established MCUMI in 2013, Liu Ming-Chuan Academy with Hefei Normal University in 2017, the Straits School of Business and Trade with Xiamen University of Technology (XUT) in 2015, and Ming Chuan University Education and Culture Center in Thailand in March 2018. Her report also covered the development status of Education Centers in Japan and Cambodia.
