by Kai Chi Chuang A culture trip to Taoyuan was held for MCU’s ICDF scholarship students on May 30th to promote an environment of cultural learning and exchange. The students enjoyed themselves in the grasslands, playing games, jumping on trampolines and barbequing their own food. At the farm, the students set up traditional kilns where they baked sweet potatoes and chicken. The tour then moved to the paintball field where they worked off their meal in a secure environment. To top it all off, the group indulged in another hearty meal at the end of the day. Everyone enjoyed themselves immensely, and have expressed that they are looking forward to the next trip.
