by Lisa Lin TaiwanICDF and MCU have cooperated for the fourth time in the “International Development Cooperation Student Paper Completion”. The deadline for the proposal is December 15. Students enrolled in bachelor’s, master’s or doctoral level International Higher Education Scholarship Programs at any TICA university may participate individually (must be a TaiwanICDF scholarship student) or with a team (Each team must include at least one TaiwanICDF scholarship student.). First-year undergraduate students are NOT eligible. Students may choose their own topics, as long as they are linked to TaiwanICDF issues of international development cooperation to illustrate their study experience in Taiwan and highlight Taiwan’s strengths to help their own countries’ development and societies. The paper should address many themes, including but not limited to the following: 1) agriculture and fisheries; 2) business and management; 3) engineering and science; 4) public health and medicine. There will be a two-stage review: Phase 1, which comprises a proposal review, and Phase 2, which comprises a paper review. The highest prize is NTD20,000 and the winner will receive a certificate of merit.
