Facing the MSCHE Reaccreditation Challenge: MCU Quiz Contest with Prizes!
Ming Chuan University will welcome the Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE) Evaluation Team for its on-site visit from October 12–15, 2025. This marks MCU’s third accreditation cycle, following its historic achievement as the first and only university in Asia accredited by MSCHE in 2010 and reaffirmation in 2016.
To raise campus awareness and encourage participation, MCU is launching the “MSCHE Reaccreditation Quiz Challenge”:
- Questions cover the 7 MSCHE Standards and MCU’s educational philosophy: “One key concept expressed three ways” (Parental care for all students; Excellence, Professionalism, Internationalization).
- Students who answer all questions correctly will earn a chance in the Lucky Draw.
- Exciting prizes include wireless air pod 4s, gym vouchers, and exclusive MCU gifts.

The Evaluation Team of eight distinguished peer reviewers will be led by Dr. Gladys Palma de Schrynemakers, also known as “Dr. G,” (City University of New York) as Chair, and Dr. Soraya Madriaza (Universidad Mayor, Chile) as Vice Chair, joined by other 6 members from the U.S., U.K., and Egypt.
The visit will feature campus tours, interviews with individual faculty members, administrators, and students, verifying MCU’s Self-Study Report against the seven MSCHE Standards.
