The Ministry of Education held its first Taiwanese education fair in the city of Los Angeles in the US. The MCU Southern California Alumni Association assisted in fair organization, press conference, and opening ceremony. The former and current presidents of the alumni association, and the vice-chairperson also attended the opening ceremony. On the evening of 10/27, a dinner party was held at the San Gabriel Hilton Hotel to welcome President Lee and alumni. In addition, President Lee accepted the Los Angeles County Honor Citizen Award awarded by L.A. County Government during the dinner party for his contribution and service to the county.
