International Students Scholarships The International Education & Exchange Division is now accepting applications for the International Student Scholarship and the Southeast-Asian Student Scholarship until 10/12. International Student Scholarship application is open for both graduate and undergraduate students. The Southeast-Asian Student Scholarship is only for undergraduate students. For detailed information regarding eligibility and application rules, please go to the division’s website. Please note that all applications should be submitted online through the Student Information System. Applicants should upload at least one reference letter written by a faculty member and a scanned copy of their ARC. Hardcopies of the documents are no longer required to be handed in to the division. MCU Freshmen Concerts The annual MCU Freshmen Concert will be held on 10/11 (Thursday) at 5:30 pm in the Physical Education Building on Taoyuan campus. For Taipei campus, it will be held on 10/17 (next Wednesday) in the Sun Yat Sen Auditorium. Taipei campus students who have paid the Student Government Association fee may pick up their admission tickets from 10/11 (Thursday) at noon through 10/16 (next Tuesday) by 5 pm at the plaza in front of Hi-Life Convenience Store. Don’t forget to bring your student identification card for ticket pick up! Faculty and Student Reading Clubs For the first semester of 2012-13, a total of 47 reading clubs have been officially approved by the university (13 student reading clubs on Taipei campus, 19 student reading clubs on Taoyuan campus, and 15 faculty reading clubs). All student reading clubs will be subsidized with NT$2000, while faculty reading clubs each receive NT$3,333. In addition, faculty and staff may receive a stamp in their Lifelong Learning Passports upon completion of the learning reflection reports.
