Classical Chinese Opera at MCU The General Education Center will be hosting a series of cultural events co-sponsored by the GuoGuang Opera Company, starting in October. Events and activities include seminars, tour to the theater, opera viewing, photography exhibit, related products and souvenirs exposition. A prize draw will be held during the exposition, discounted group tickets to opera shows will be sold, as well. So, come along to enjoy and appreciate the beauty of traditional Chinese opera. On-campus Regular Exercise Program The Physical Education Office would like to invite and encourage all faculty, staff and students to participate in the on-campus program to maintain good health and physical fitness. The 12-week program runs from 9/24 to 12/21, and the sports classes meet once a week for 50 minutes. Activities include badminton, table tennis, aerobic yoga, basketball, weight training and golf. Participating faculty and staff will receive a stamp in their Lifelong Learning Passports and students will receive merits or recognitions. The Fun of Bouldering The MCU Mountain Climbing Club would like to invite you to take a trip to the largest bouldering site in Taiwan on 10/12 (Friday) from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. During the trip some general knowledge on the sports of rock climbing, bouldering and buildering will be introduced. In addition, participants will be invited to experience the fun and excitement of these sports for free. Challenge your body’s strength, power and dynamics!
