by Chih Hsieh International students were given an introductory look in the different aspects of Taiwanese culture and history when they accompanied the MCU People To People International (PTPI) tour to Taoyuan on October 15. Firstly, the students visited Lin Historic Museum to appreciate the historical heritage, which included learning how baking was done in a large clay oven and watching the lotus flowers. It was a memorable trip, and PTPI is looking to invite students to their December 17 trip to Yilan where they will visit the center of traditional arts and King Car Whisky Winery, among others. All interested students are encouraged to sign up at the Taipei campus: International Education and Exchange Division office (A Building) and at the Taoyuan campus at PTPI’s club office(GYM ).
