by Vina Frederick On Thursday December 1, Ming Chuan University HIV/AIDS Call to Action Campaign organizers will join the world in celebrating and commemorating World AIDS Day. The campaign organizers will mark this day with a candlelight vigil held at the Sun Yat Sen Memorial Hall beginning at 2pm. This event is the continuation of a series of activities hosted by the HIV/AIDS Call to Action team in bringing greater attention to the HIV/AIDS issue. All students are encouraged to attend this event and will receive official leave. All students are also encouraged to wear white shirts or tops on this day and will be given an HIV/AIDS ribbon to wear. The theme for this semester’s campaign is “Stop Discrimination and Stigmatization: Embrace People Living with HIV/AIDS”.
