by Shervon Alfred It’s often said that manners make the man, but in this new era of modern technology and self-satisfaction, it sometimes seems like manners are taking a back seat to such things as smart phones and video games. To encourage a culture of respect at school, MCU has announced plans for a special moral education slogan contest. Participants are required to write a short slogan, not exceeding 30 words on any of the following titles. •Manners•Respect life•Respect your parents and teachers•Do good things The winning slogans will be used in the school’s upcoming moral education activities and will be posted around the various campuses. To participate, download a registration form on the Student Affairs website. Students submitting the top three entries will win iPod shuffles.
