The 22nd MCU Literary Awards Ceremony was held on Tuesday, December 28th, 2010 in the Sun Yat Sen Auditorium on Taipei Campus. The ceremony started off with musical poetry and dance; entitled “Fragrant Rice,” performed by students and directed by faculty member Ting Tsui-Ling, with music by the Chinese Music Club. Judges and staff were deeply moved by the performance of the English Poetry Recitation “Porphyria's lover” by Robert Browning, which was performed by students from the Applied English Department. Ming Chuan University President Chuan Lee was present at the ceremony and commended everyone for their performances and excellent entries in the MCU Literary Awards competition this year. A first-time category Best MCU photo taken with a cell phone, attracted a huge number of entries. Judges had a hard time deciding who took the best photo of the MCU campus in this unique fashion. After the ceremony, winners from each department were brought together for discussions with the judges and staff about their performance, what encouraged them to take part in the competition as well as the inspiration and meaning behind their work
