■Staying in Shape The Campus Health Services is hosting a series of activities in order to promote faculty and students’ health awareness. Activities include hiking, aerobics, and “Early Bird Lifestyle” in which students must form groups of five and try to get up and be on campus early in the morning. ■International Exchange Students at MCU This semester, there are a total of 80 international students from our sister schools overseas. This figure includes 55 students from Korea, 3 from the U.S. and Canada, 4 from Hong Kong, 3 from Mongolia, 7 from Germany, 3 from Netherland, 2 from France, 2 from Finland and 1 from Sweden. On the other hand, 44 Ming Chuan students have gone to our sister schools to study abroad this semester. ■Freshmen Concert This Week The annual Freshmen Concert will be held this Wednesday (10/13) at 6:30 p.m. on Taoyuan campus. The doors will be open for entrance at 5:50 p.m. Students are reminded not to cut in line or save seats for friends and no food or drinks allowed in the concert. The following day, Thursday (10/14), another concert will take place in Sun Yat Sen Auditorium on Taipei campus. The doors will be open for entrance at 6 p.m. and no entry will be allowed after 7:30 p.m. In addition, the Student Government Organization and seven other departmental student associations are co-hosting a Uniform Party. For those freshmen who dress up in their high school uniform when attending the Freshmen Concert may get a chance to participate in the prize draw.
