Applications Open for MCU 2027 Outstanding Youth Selection

Applications are now open for Ming Chuan University’s 2027 Outstanding Youth Selection. All currently enrolled domestic and international students, including undergraduate students, students enrolled in in-service programs, and graduate students, are encouraged to apply if they have demonstrated outstanding academic performance, exemplary conduct, or notable achievements in research, community service, student organizations, or other areas. Applications must be submitted by 2:00 p.m. on Friday, October 16, 2026. Students selected as Outstanding Youth will be publicly recognized during senior-year Weekly Meetings on campus. In addition, the top three selected domestic students will represent MCU at national or municipal Youth Day commendation ceremonies organized by the China Youth Corps.

Applicants must meet the academic and conduct requirements based on their records for the 2025-26 academic year. Undergraduate applicants must have an average academic score of 70 or above, while graduate applicants must have an average academic score of 80 or above; all applicants must also have an average conduct score of 80 or above. Students are encouraged to apply if they have demonstrated notable achievements in areas such as academic research demonstrating professionalism or innovation, public welfare and community service, leadership in student clubs or organizations, promotion of student activities, or other exemplary accomplishments. Before applying, students should carefully review the MCU 2027 Outstanding Youth Selection – Instructions for Completing the Application and download the required application form, application checklist, and Personal Information Collection Notification and Consent Form.

Both electronic and printed application materials must be submitted. After completing and signing all required documents, applicants must upload their application materials in Word format, along with two passport-style photos, through the Outstanding Youth Selection Google Form. Printed application materials must be properly bound and submitted together with the signed Personal Information Collection Notification and Consent Form to the designated staff member on the campus where the applicant’s department or program is located. Students are reminded to prepare and submit both electronic and printed materials in strict accordance with the required format and instructions to ensure that their applications can be properly reviewed.

The selection process consists of two stages. Applicants who pass the first-stage review of their written application materials will proceed to the second-stage interview, tentatively scheduled for the afternoon of Wednesday, December 2, 2026, in Conference Room Q504 on Taoyuan Campus. Applicants must wear formal attire to the interview. Students who have distinguished themselves through academic achievement, service, leadership, or other meaningful contributions during their time at MCU are encouraged to apply and showcase the accomplishments they have built throughout their university journey.
