GSIA first-year students attended, to support their upper classmates who presented their theses This annual event held by GSIA allows graduate school students and faculty members, along with invited guests from other universities, to share their experiences and opinions with the students. “The second-year students work extremely hard to complete their dissertations for final defense, so this is a great opportunity as well as being beneficial for the first-year students to learn and support their seniors,” said Dr. Nathan Liu, director of GSIA Even though the seminar was intense for all the second-year students who presented their theses, a lot of dedication and preparation built up for a memorable day.
