One USC education graduate, Miss Gabriela Martinez, will participate in an internship at MCU from May 25th to June 25th. More visitors are on the way to MCU in the coming days. A delegation of 12 Roberts Fellows, led by Dr. Drew Hinderer, from Saginaw Valley State University will visit Taoyuan campus on May 18th. Meanwhile, the manager of The Washington Center for Internships and Academic Seminars, Ms. Virginia Gergoff will attend a meeting on Jihe complex during the afternoon of May 17 to promote the Internship Scholarship Program of the Center. During April, MCU delegation led by Dean of School of Communication, Dr. Chen Yaw-Chu, traveled to Malaysia in April to recruit for the 2010-11 Master of Communications Management Program. In Malaysia, MCU is cooperating with New Era College in establishing a 2+2 program in communication majors. On May 4th, the president of the Cross-Strait Science and Technology Exchange Association. Mr. Lee Yan-Sheng, visited the School of Design to seek the possibility of cooperation with MCU. From VietNam, Hong Duc University and the Thanh Hoa Province government plan to send outstanding students to complete their degrees or pursue masters’ courses at MCU. Thus the university’s president Dr. Nguyen Van Phat visited both Taoyuan and Taipei campuses in order to discuss the feasibility of the plan.
