來自菲律賓的Sam Weng Kei回饋表示:「As a first-timer participating in a Japanese tea ceremony, I can say that I really enjoyed and appreciated the experience. It was peaceful and focused on small details, like how the tea was prepared and served. It taught me to be mindful, respectful, and to appreciate the present moment. Wearing a traditional dress for the first time also made the experience even more special and helped me feel more connected to the tradition.」
Experiencing a Japanese tea ceremony for the first time was truly unforgettable. The calm atmosphere and the meaningful ritual made me realize it’s about much more than just tea. It’s a practice rooted in harmony, respect, purity, and tranquility. Every step, from preparing the tea to serving it, was done with such care and mindfulness. One of the most memorable aspects of the experience was wearing traditional Japanese attire the yukata which added to the authenticity of the experience.
The tea ceremony was a really nice experience, I have always wanted to try participating in one, but I’ve never been to japan and it’s not exactly common even as a tourist there from what I understand. The teacher who helped make the ceremony was very knowledgeable and gave us a really thorough overview of what tea ceremony is like and answered all of our questions. It was also very nice that the students from the tea ceremony club of Taoyuan Campus came to help us.
