Centered around the theme “International Renown through One Mission – Three Goals; Persevering to the End with a Pleasant Smile”, the MCU 62nd anniversary celebration series of activities comprises Cocktail Party, Alumni Association Meeting, Student and Community Group Carnival, Cheerleading Dance Competition and more, one after another on March 23 (Sat) at Taoyuan Campus, which celebrate the university reaching a new milestone.
One of the highlights of the Cocktail Party will be a Robot Display by Information and Telecommunications Engineering Department which includes small robot Darwin, large service-type robot, medium-size soccer robot, and Gomoku robotic arm. Designed completely by students, from programming to outer appearance, these robots earned gold medals at Accompany Intelligent Robot Championship, held by the Ministry of Science and Technology.
President Lee will express appreciation to all alumni at home and abroad, as well as welcome honored guests from the United States, Japan, Thailand, and Mainland China visiting MCU to light up celebration activities. It’s been 10 years since Eternal President Pao of Ming Chuan University has been gone, and the university will hold a special education forum on March 22 in commemoration. Let us celebrate MCU’s birthday with this series of activities together!
