The School of Education and Applied Languages, along with Department of Applied English will soon host the Third Annual National English Briefing Competition for Senior and Vocational High School Students. Prospective students from schools across Taiwan will participate in the event on Wednesday, December 7, 2016, in P101 on Taoyuan Campus from 9:30 a.m. to 12:40 p.m. Each of the 23 groups from 17 different schools will give PowerPoint presentations on the topic “Qualities Necessary for Society’s Future Generation.”
As with the two previous highly successful competitions for numerous students, the annual event promises to be an invaluable opportunity for the young participants to share their perspectives with an attentive academic audience. The groups will compete for first, second, and third prizes, along with honorable mentions, as determined by professional judges. A large number of student participants will also have the unique opportunity to visit Ming Chuan University’s Taoyuan Campus again and interact with the faculty members and senior students who are organizing the entire competition.
All students are invited to attend this spirited event and help to welcome the prospective students to this special learning environment which is provided by Department of Applied English.
