Canadian high school students came to Taiwan to explore our culture and lifestyle, and were hosted by the Mandarin Studies & Culture Center March 14~26. International College students were invited to be volunteer staff for this exchange program. In order to provide a successful exchange experience, MCU planned the program using “Canadian Amazing Race” as the theme, which combines not only sightseeing but also Chinese language and culture curriculum. So, besides Chinese lecture, Canadian students could assimilate into our daily life. So that they could experience the beauty of Taiwan, students visited National Palace Museum, Shihlin night market, Tamshui, and the magnificent Sun Moon Lake in Nantou County. Finally, they were sent off with a farewell party as the culmination of these Canadian students’ unforgettable exchange trip in Taiwan.
