by Florrie Lin 2015-16 Department Transfer Applications are open from March 16 to 20. Students who desire to change their major are to please complete the electronic form on line; no late applications accepted. The Department Transfer Exams will be held from March 24 to 30. Please refer to 2015-16 Academic Year Criteria for Changes of Major about the examinations and criteria. There are 36 Departments and 5 Specialized Degree Programs open for students to apply for changes of major. Most of the departments will hold oral tests. Students must submit English study plan, autobiography, transcripts of each semester and other relevant information to apply for any of the 5 Specialized Degree Programs in International College: International Business and Trade Program, Journalism and Mass Communication Program, Travel and Tourism Program, Applied Computing Program and International Affairs and Diplomacy Program. However, according to the Academic Affairs Division, students with any difficulty in study, who do not meet the criteria of the desired department, can apply to transfer to the lowest year level upon approval by the Chairs of current and desired departments.
