【897Enews】School of Management Strives for AACSB Accreditation

MCU School of Management became a member of AACSB (The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business) in Aug 2011 and was accepted to the stage of Pre-Accreditation in Jun 2013 under Dean Huang’s active promotion. Professor Lawrence C. Rose, from California State University at San Bernardino, an AACSB mentor, conducted an on-site visit on Aug 25- 26. Professor Rose not only interviewed MCU faculty members, but also discussed the accreditation plan item by item. Dr. Rose said he is impressed and touched by MCU’s devotion and enthusiasm to AACSB accreditation. He believes that the School of Management can earn the AACSB accreditation smoothly. about AACSB AACSB (The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business 國際商管學院促進協會) provides internationally recognized, specialized accreditation for business and accounting programs at the bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral level. The AACSB Accreditation Standards challenge post-secondary educators to pursue excellence and continuous improvement throughout their business programs. AACSB Accreditation is known, worldwide, as the longest standing, most recognized form of specialized/professional accreditation an institution and its business programs can earn.
