Since this is required, you do not need to sign up for the exam; but, please don’t forget that you must be present to take it. To prepare, you may study the book Practical Audio-Visual Chinese Book (1) Lesson 1~12, published by Cheng Chung Book Co., Ltd. This year’s Chinese Proficiency exam is going to be held on Friday, the 20th of December on both Taipei and Taoyuan campuses from 12:20 to 13:40 (80 minutes total). For students on Taipei campus, the examination rooms are: H601 for IBT2(A), H602 for IBT2(B) and JMC2, and H603 for IF2 and IF3 students. For Taoyuan campus students, the examination room is EE704 for AC2, TT2, and IAD2 students. Students must bring their student ID card or ARC to the examination room. Also, students must be aware that one may not enter the examination room 15 minutes after the exam has begun, and you cannot leave within the first 20 minutes of the exam. Students who violate the rules will be disqualified for that examination. All the other examination rules set by the university are also in force for this exam.
