Chinese proficiency exam is coming up in about two months. The exam is going to be held on Friday, December 20 on both Taipei and Taoyuan campuses from 12:20 to 1:40 PM (total of 80 minutes). This exam will be administered to IC 2nd-year international students. All are required to take the test; therefore, you do not need to sign up. If third- or fourth-year students didn’t pass the Chinese graduation requirement yet and would like to join this test, please go to the IC office to register before the 1st of November. IC will announce the seating arrangement and further details after mid-term exams. When taking the exam, students must bring their student ID card or ARC to the examination room. Also, students cannot enter the examination room 15 minutes after the test has begun, and cannot leave within the first 20 minutes of the examination. Violators will be disqualified from that particular examination. Other rules are in accordance with MCU examination regulations. The book that the student can refer to and study is Practical Audio-Visual Chinese Book (1) Lesson 1~12, published by Cheng Chung Book Co., Ltd. Although, there are nearly two months to go till the exam, students can start preparing and studying now in order to pass the exam with a good score.
