By Lisa Nguyen
On March 30, 2026, the iCareer Service Center at Ming Chuan University (MCU), in collaboration with 104 Corporation, successfully hosted a career talk at Room J616 on the Jihe Campus. The event attracted a large number of international students eager to better understand career opportunities in Taiwan.
The highlight of the session was the presence of Mr. Julius Ling, Product Marketing Manager at 104 Corporation. Drawing on his professional expertise, Mr. Ling provided valuable guidance on writing effective CVs, shared real-world career experiences, and offered practical advice on language learning for career development in Taiwan.

The talk covered several key topics, including an overview of Taiwan’s latest international labor policies, inspiring alumni career stories, and detailed guidance on crafting strong and competitive CVs.
Throughout the session, the audience actively participated by raising practical questions. Many students were particularly interested in how to create a CV that stands out to HR recruiters, as well as how to appropriately discuss salary during job interviews.

The event also featured a special one-on-one CV review session conducted by representatives from 104 Corporation. Selected students had the opportunity to receive personalized feedback on their CVs, including suggestions for improvement and career orientation advice. This session allowed students to directly refine their application materials with expert support.
To enhance the overall experience, the iCareer Service Center thoughtfully prepared lunch boxes for attendees, adding a warm and welcoming touch and helping students feel comfortable and engaged throughout the session.
