Application for 2026 Outstanding Youth Selection is Open!

2026 Outstanding Youth Selection is now open for application! All students currently enrolled at our university—including undergraduate, students in work-experience programs and graduate students, either domestic or international—who have demonstrated outstanding academic and personal achievements, are encouraged to apply. Make your university journey shine with distinction!

The Outstanding Youth will be honored publicly during fourth-year Weekly Meetings on campus. Additionally, the top three local students will represent our university to receive honored recognition at national or municipal Youth Day Commendation Ceremonies plus the one organized by the China Youth Corps.

The basic qualifications for the selection of Outstanding Youth are: for the 2024-25 Academic Year, applicants must have average academic score of 70 points or higher for undergraduates, average academic score of 80 points or higher for graduate students and the average conduct score above 80 points. Regardless of academic major, applications are welcome from those with outstanding performances such as: promoting social services for public welfare, serving as student club officers and promoting club activities with innovative spirit or enthusiasm in academic research. Students who wish to apply should first review the MCU 2026 Outstanding Youth Selection – Instructions for Filling out the Application, download the Ming Chuan University 2026 Outstanding Youth Selection Application Form and Outstanding Youth Selection Personal Information Collection Notification Terms and Consent Form. Written application materials need to be printed, signed, bound and submitted to the responsible staff on respective campus according to the location of your department/program. The digital version (word file including 2 ID photos) is to be uploaded to Google Drive at https://forms.gle/q4L1DxQhBgwUWdPa6.

The screening process for Outstanding Youth begins with a preliminary review of written materials in the first stage, followed by a second stage of interviews if the applicants pass the preliminary. Interviews will be scheduled in the afternoon of December 3, 2025 (Wednesday) in Q505 conference room on Taoyuan Campus. Students must wear formal professional attire to the interviews.
