The department of Teaching Chinese as a Second Language (TCSL) will hold a cross-border on-line Chinese recitation contest on April 1st. All international students of MCU are welcome and encouraged to join. The purpose of this event is to promote teamwork and friendship among MCU, Suwon University, and Suwon Science College of Korea. This online contest will take place in the audio/visual language labs of both MCU and Suwon University. MCU’s TCSL department and its Suwon counterpart will have five candidates chosen through the initial selection, and proceed with the final contest. Chinese speech professionals invited by TCSL department will be responsible for evaluating students’ speeches, demonstrating exemplary speeches, commenting, and awarding cash prizes. Both initial and final contests will take place on April 1 from 12:30pm to 2:30pm at P101.
