Students from the International College (IC) of Ming Chuan University (MCU) recently participated in an exciting job fair held at Shih Chien University, gaining valuable exposure to career opportunities. The event, organized with the support of the iCareer Service Center @MCU, aimed to connect students with leading employers and provide insights into various industries.
From early in the day, MCU students gathered at the meeting point, dressed professionally and fully prepared with their CVs. The atmosphere was energetic as participants entered the venue, where numerous company booths had already been set up to welcome candidates.

The event officially began with an opening ceremony attended by guests, including university professors, lecturers, and representatives from various businesses. In addition, professors and representatives from Ming Chuan University, as well as professors from other universities, were present to mark the occasion, highlighting the importance of collaboration between academia and industry. Their presence not only added prestige to the event but also demonstrated strong support for student career development and the future workforce.
Among the well-known recruiters present were 7-Eleven, Taipei Marriott Hotel, and Mister Donut, along with many other companies from diverse sectors such as hospitality, retail, and services. Students had the opportunity to interact directly with recruiters, submit their resumes, and learn more about job requirements, internship programs, and career paths.

For many students, this was not just a chance to apply for jobs, but also an opportunity to build confidence, improve communication skills, and better understand employers’ expectations. Some participants even received immediate feedback on their CVs, making the experience both practical and rewarding.
The iCareer Service Center @MCU has announced another upcoming job fair scheduled for April 9, 2026, at National Taipei University of Technology. Students are highly encouraged to participate, as this is another excellent opportunity to expand their professional networks and explore potential career paths.
