Ming Chuan University’s School of Information Technology will be renamed the School of Electrical and Information Engineering, or SEIE. The school is hosting a logo design contest open to all MCU students to create a new visual identity.
Students can submit entries from now until April 30, 2025. Designs must be digital, reflect electrical and information engineering characteristics and include a design concept of up to 500 words.
Selection will occur in two phases. During the first phase, May 5-10, university students will vote on the submissions, with the top design receiving NT$3,000. In the second phase, faculty will choose the winning design, which will receive NT$2,000 and become the school’s official emblem.
