Quacquarelli Symonds Company released QS Asia University Rankings 2020 on November 27, 2019; MCU has now been included in the ranking for 3 consecutive years. MCU also ranked among the top 100 Asian Universities for international performance, and the total number of international students ranked top 1 for private universities, an excellent rating.
MCU ranked among the top 100 of Asia University Ranking for 2 of the 10 indicators. Especially notable is the excellent performance in internationalization.
The indicator of international exchange students ranked 46th in Asia, which received 93.2 points; the indicator of international student percentage ranked 70th in Asia, which received 65.9 points, ranked top 1 for private universities. Meanwhile, the indicator of overseas exchange student percentage ranked 184th in Asia, which received 29.5 points; international faculty percentage ranked 215th, which received 24.8 points, and faculty members with doctoral degree percentage ranked 217th, which received 42.4 points. Only 37 public and private universities in Taiwan appeared in the QS Asia University Rankings 2020.
