Midterm Exams Coming Soon The university’s Midterm Examinations will be held in two weeks. The exam schedules are already available online via the Student Information Network. Students should print out and carry a hardcopy of their exam schedules and student identification card at all times. Temporary student identification cards may be applied for at the Exam Administration Center on both campuses. Or students may provide other forms of identification with a valid photograph. Students should note that there will no be make-ups for the midterm exams. In addition, students are reminded to arrive at the examination rooms in advance, and cell phones must be turned off at all times. Application for 2013 Outstanding Youth Selection Applications are now being accepted for the annual MCU Outstanding Youth Selection (International students may apply as well.). Current MCU graduate and undergraduate students with good academic standing, who have made an achievement that is worthy of recognition, or made a commitment and contribution toward our university or society may apply. Detailed information regarding the application process and candidate qualifications may be obtained from the Student Affairs Division’s website under the link “Notices”. Please note that the application deadline is on 11/12 (Monday). MCU Halloween Party The International Cultural Exchange Society on Taipei campus will be hosting a Halloween party tomorrow (10/23) night at 7 pm in the Sun Yat Sen Auditorium. Attendees must have an admission ticket and be dressed up in costume in order to be admitted. Tickets will not be sold on-site. The venue will be decorated as a giant spooky Halloween house with hundreds of helium balloons. Moreover, there will be a free buffet, DJ playing live music, horror story telling, band performances and a contest for the best Halloween dress up/costume. This year, ICES would like to make a donation on behalf of MCU students to the Holy Word Children’s Home in Tienmu. Therefore, please bring along some candies, chocolate bars, and other treats to be donated to the kids.
