【833Enews】Love to sing but have no place to shine?

by Sue-Lin Tan The International Cultural Exchange Students (ICES) will hold a Mandarin Chinese Singing Contest on Friday (9/28) at 5 pm in the Sun Yat Sen Auditorium on Taipei campus. This singing contest is just open for international students who study in IC, and there is a limit of 20 participants. To make it easier for participants to sign up, ICES has created an online registration, which is http://registrano.com/events/2012icessingingcontest. The deadline of registration is September 25. After online registration, entrants need to go to the IC office to pay NTD 50 as the registration fee during 12n until 1pm on 9/20, 9/21, 9/24, or 9/25. The first prize is NTD 2,000, to be selected by a panel of three professional judges invited from other schools. Contestants need to prepare their own Chinese song as an mp3 file, and burn it onto a CD. The contest is only for solos; each contestant will be given 5 minutes to present themselves on stage. ICES welcome everyone to watch the singing contest and support the contestants. For more information, please refer to the website above or contact Tony from IBM 3 or Winnie from JMC 3. First come, first entered; the grand prize is waiting for you!
