Post-midterm Course Drop Didn’t do well on your midterm exams? You may be eligible to reduce your study load. Students who fail 1/3 of their course credits in the midterm exam may apply to drop 1 course, fail more than 1/3 but less than 1/2 of course credits, up to 2 courses; fail 1/2 or more of course credits, up to 3 courses. However, the semester’s total credits must not fall below the minimum credits required for full-time enrollment. Please file an online application starting from 9am on April 30th to 4pm on May 4th, 2012. If additional revision is needed, it must be handled in person at the Registrar’s Office. No application or revision may be made after the application deadline. Please choose carefully. Mr. and Ms. International Deadline this Friday The initial selection for 6th Mr. and Ms. International Smile will be held on 4/24 on Taoyuan Campus and 5/2 on Taipei Campus. Participants are to introduce themselves, perform their talent or skill, and answer several quick-witted questions. Four each of men and women on Taipei Campus, and five each of men and women on Taoyuan campus will be selected for the final competition, and each receives 1,000 NTD award. Students are welcome to express themselves with their glorious smiles! Initial selection deadline for Taoyuan campus is 4/20 (Friday) before 12:00 noon, while that for Taipei campus is 4/26 (Thursday) at 16:00. Energetic Sports Week Shake off your midterm exam pressure! The Physical Education Office invites you to join in a week of activities during Energetic Sports Week. Activities include seminars, aerobic exercise, magic square throw, and three-point shot. Come! Show off your energy through these activities on campus. Zero Cigarette Smoking Class on Taipei Campus The Student Affairs Division will hold a FREE Zero Cigarette Smoking Class starting this Friday (4/20) from 17:00 to 21:00 at D106 on Taipei Campus for the coming 3 weeks (4/20, 4/27, 5/4). Participants are eligible to receive dinner and gifts.
