A new library logo is coming up! We congratulate the excellent work, which was designed by Wang, Wei-May, a Product Design department student, that stood out from the 147 entries and won the first prize. Her creation used books as an image and revealed a simple lively breath via flying lines. She also used vivid color to completely grasp the Ming Chuan logo colors of red and blue. The entries are on exhibition on the second floor of Ying Chao Memorial Library on Taoyuan Campus until March 9. All students are welcome to visit. From the 147 entries by MCU students who joined the competition, School of Design faculty members Liao, Ching-Chih and Jan, Yang-Bing, selected six excellent works for further consideration. Then, MCU librarians voted on the top three works they preferred. The judges said all six excellent works used vivid color to completely grasp the Ming Chuan logo colors of red and blue. Besides, most of them were based on books as an image so that it would represent the library style.
