by Brian Henson The Extracurricular Activities Section has announced they will be sponsoring a school-wide sports competition on November 19th. The event will open on the outdoor courts in front of the Extracurricular Activities Section’s Office in Taipei or in the event of rain, the indoor courts. Brackets will be formed to allow students to compete in one of four sports; Basketball, Volleyball, Relay, or Football (Soccer) and the teams that place in the top 3 will receive a trophy (or medal), certificate, and prizes. International College students, Overseas Chinese students, and Mainland Chinese students are all invited to form teams of 4 and participate in one of the four sports. The Extracurricular Activities Section will not be providing placement for those who are unable to find a team, so students are asked to arrange teams themselves or with the help of their teachers and/or class leaders. Teams that are ready to register can do so by talking to either Ruby or Fifi (IBM). Registration will open on October 17th and close on the 24th.
