by Shervon Alfred In an effort to promote sports culture on campus and to arouse sports interest, the Physical Education Office will be hosting Three-point Shot and Magic Square Throw Competitions. All MCU students may represent their departments in the competitions. The Magic Square Throw competition will take place on April 28, 2011 from 12:10 to 13:00 while the Three-point Shot has been scheduled for the following day, April 29, 2011 from 12:10 to 14:00. For both competitions, each team should comprise five people (three males and two females). Participants may register online at Physical Education Office website (http://pe.mcu.edu.tw/activity/) or submit the application form to the Physical Education Office. The competition rules are as follows: (1) Participants must bring their student ID to the competition. (2) Teams should arrive ten minutes prior to the scheduled time. (3) All players should dress casually during the competition. No jeans are allowed. (4) If you have any doubts in regard to the competition, the captain should address the appeal to the officials. (5) Uncouth team names are not permitted.
