by Shervon Alfred With blood banks in Taiwan facing a serious shortage, the Campus Health Services Section is mounting a campaign to encourage students to donate blood. The campaign will be held under the theme, “Donate one bag of blood, save one life.” It will take place from May 10-12 in the Sun Yat Sen Auditorium, Taipei Campus. As an added incentive, all blood donors will receive two recognition points towards their conduct grade for every 500ml of blood donated. Participants must be healthy and at least 17 years old to donate. International students must have been living in Taiwan for at least one year in order to participate. Remember to bring along your ID card when donating.
