Time flies, Dr. Pao, the ‘mother’ of the Ming Chuan family has been gone from us for two years. Although Dr. Pao is not physically with us, her spirit and selfless devotion of establishing Ming Chuan University are always in our minds. A concert in Commemoration of the 2nd Anniversary of Ming Chuan University Founder Pao’s Passing was held at Sun Yat Sen Auditorium on Taipei campus, organized by the General Secretary's Division on January 21, 2011. Taipei Symphony Orchestra gave a performance and everyone in attendance reflected on all that Dr. Pao has meant to MCU. Choral Performances of “Devotion” and “A Thankful Heart“ were performed by Ming Chuan University National Alumni Association to express their respect to Founder Pao. Juan Montero, a student from Panama described his learning and growing at MCU in fluent Chinese. Ming Chuan faculty and staff members sang “Mother, You Are Great” and “Path of Grace” dedicated to Dr. Pao’s memory. Finally, President Lee and his family sang “The Moon Represents My Heart” for our dearly beloved Founder Pao.
