Administrators and staff from MCU brought some old Christmas cheer to the university's dormitories this holiday season. Feeling joyful, the teachers and staff dressed up as Santa Claus and visited the men’s and women’s dorms on both campuses on December 22, 2010. Upon arriving at 6 pm, they offered Christmas sweets to every student, giving their blessings especially to the foreign exchange students who couldn’t be home with their families this holiday season. Students living in the dorm were excited to see the teachers and staff of MCU dressed up as Santa Claus this Christmas holiday. Later that evening at 7 pm, students living in the dorms were invited to a Christmas party arranged by their dorm leaders. The party took place in the cafeteria where a buffet was arranged for students to feast on. In addition, there were many games where students won special Christmas prizes to take home, such as lottery draws, dough making, and fun trivia competitions. Everyone was happy to play Christmas games with their friends and receive Christmas presents from the Student Affairs staff. This party turned out to be a joyful evening where students were able to share their holiday spirit. Everyone now wishes there will be a event next year at Ming Chuan University.
