■MCU Student Enrollment Rate According to the statistics from the Academic Affairs Division, 19,279 students are currently enrolled and have completed registration procedures. The figure includes 16,764 undergraduate students (87%), 932 graduate students, 957 work-study graduate students, 257 overseas Chinese students, and 97 international exchange students. ■Poster Design Competition The Student Affairs Division is hosting a poster design and film competition based on the theme of quitting and staying away from smoking, drinking, chewing beetle nuts, drug abuse and AIDS. Submission begins now and will end on 11/30. The competition is only open to freshman, sophomore and junior students. The winners of each category will be awarded a cash prize of NT$3000. If interested, please contact the Military Training Office. ■IC Halloween Party The International College will be holding a Halloween party this Friday (10/2) at 6:30 p.m. on on the 3rd floor of the Physical Education Building on Taoyuan campus. There will be a Halloween costume competition and “Free Dance”, so come along dressed up in your fancy costumes! The theme this year is the 80’s and Cosplay. Tickets can be purchased at the IC office. So, get ready to trick or treat!
