Audrey Tang, Digital Minister under the Executive Yuan, visited the Journalism and Mass Communication Program of MCU’s International College on May 10. Under the theme of “Digital Social Innovation in Taiwan.” she shared how to use digital technology to exchange views for social and citizen interaction in the epidemic situation, including the impact of masks on society and how to establish information sharing on vaccines with other countries. Tang also dialogued with students about the Presidential Hackathon on Sustainable Development Goals and preparation for future digital development trends in 5G. Through the Slido website, all participants had the opportunity to respond to issues of public interes.
