【本刊訊】為提升桃園市青少年學子外語能力、與國際接軌，桃園市政府教育局主辦「桃園市110年度英語比賽」3/27在桃園市中興國中舉行，銘傳應用英語學系一連摘下大專組演講比賽亞軍、季軍、優勝三大獎，彰顯銘傳應英學生的臨場反應與專業表現穩健，成為大贏家。
大專組演講比賽，賽前公布有三組題目，包括：「Learn from the past, live in the present, hope for the future」、「How to cope with stress in life」及「Opportunity comes to those who are prepared.」，現場抽題後，每人只有5分鐘演講時間。
歷經桃園市各大學院校學生激烈競爭，銘傳應英系學生脫穎而出，應英三丙許子君、應英二丙潘李宣分別以「Opportunity comes to those who are prepared.」題目演講，奪下第二名、第三名，應英三丙林珍霈則以「Learn from the past, live in the present, hope for the future」演講獲得優勝。
