Mid-term exam results are gradually being posted. For those students who aren’t satisfied with their exam results, Academic Affairs Division provides Mid-term Course-reduction Application so that students might have a chance to consider lightening their course load. The application period is open from 9 AM on May 11 to 4 PM on May 15.
Mid-term Course-reduction Criteria: 1. Students who fail less than one-third of their credits on midterm exams may apply to drop one course. 2. Students who fail more than one-third but less than half of their credits on midterm exams may apply to drop no more than two courses. 3. Students who fail half of their credits on midterm exams may apply to drop no more than three courses.
Students who meet the course-reduction criteria may submit their application through the Student Information System →Course Info →Post-Midterm Course Withdrawal after they counsel with their class advisor. Exchange students are to please contact the International Education and Exchange Division or the Mainland China Education and Exchange Division.
The application results will be announced on May 18, 2020. Students can check more details online by themselves (Student Information System/ Course Schedule/ Second Semester).
