Ming Chuan University cooperated with National Taiwan Ocean University to hold the 2018 Data Envelopment Analysis International Conference (DEAIC), Innovative Management at J616 Conference Room of Jihe Complex from June 13 to 16. Totally, 57 scholars from United Kingdom, United States, Canada, India, Czech Republic, Ireland, and Mainland China participated in the event and promoted the development of DEA theory and innovative practical applications.
President Lee participated in the event as Honorary Chairman; in his remarks, he noted that DEA provides an innovative enterprise management method which can help attain highly efficient management and product innovation. DEA not only maintains enterprise competitiveness but also aids enterprises to face the changeable market and economic environment. DEA can convert thoughts into real strategies and practices.
Joe Zhu, the founder of DEAIC, visited Taiwan to host the event. This international academic conference invited well-known international scholars to deliver academic lectures. Through presentations on cutting-edge international research in DEA, scholars could get to know international research trends and directly communicate with other professionals. The event promoted research levels, broadened vision and developed educational cooperation.
