In line with the establishment of an intelligent campus, MCU faculty, staff and student ID cards have been changed to iPASS from the 1st Semester of 2017-18 AY.
Faculty, Staff and Student iPASS not only has the functions of original Faculty, Staff and Student ID Cards, but also can be used to enter and exit the library, use copy machines and printers, borrow books, and can be used at the automatic pay station, too. In the future, iPASS will be accepted for small payments at the Bursar Section and for dormitory curfew checks.
MCU iPASS is a stored-value card; you can add value and use it for payment at convenience stores on both Taipei and Taoyuan campuses, for MRT and bus, even for parking lot payments in the future. General Affairs Division is actively negotiating with on-campus food vendors to extend the functions of MCU iPASS to benefit all MCU students.
