2016 International Symposia Striving for Excellence in Higher Education has been launched for celebrating MCU 59th Anniversary. A total of 26 sections of International Symposia will be held separately at MCU campuses and locations. A joint Opening Ceremony for 16 sections of International Symposia was held on March 11 (Friday) at Taipei, Taoyuan, Jihe and Kinmen venues through the teleconferencing system. President Lee hosted the opening ceremony in person on Taoyuan Campus. This year’s international symposia comprise a total of 26 sections, 555 papers and 15 keynote speeches. A total of 31 honored guests from U. S., Japan, Thailand and Mainland China will participate in the international symposia, which were launched by Applied English Department on March 4 and will be wrapped up by the Counseling and Industrial/Organizational Psychology (CIOP) Department on April 30.
