MCU has been striving for teaching excellence with outstanding achievement for many years and received subsidy of the Program for Promoting Teaching Excellence of Universities from the Ministry of Education since 2005. The implementation report of 2015 Program for Promoting Teaching Excellence of Universities has been approved by the Ministry of Education and MCU will receive 50 million NTD from the Ministry of Education for 2016 Program for Promoting Teaching Excellence of Universities. President Lee specially indicated that the 2015 and 2016 Program for Promoting Teaching Excellence of Universities are primarily focusing on “Holistic Education & Application-oriented Learning” which aims to balanced development in cognitive, psychomotor and affective domains, cultivate students with professional knowledge, high skill and good attitude.
