President Lee met the Secretary of Gansu Provincial Party Committee Wang San-Yun on April 5th and signed a 3+1+1 agreement with the president of Lan Chow University Wang Chen. On April 7th, President Lee participated in the 120th anniversary of Xi’an Jiaotong University (XJTU) and shared his concepts of university governance and vision for Ming Chuan University in the World-class University President Conference held by XJTU. President Lee’s speech was about talent mobility in the global context. He used Ming Chuan University as an example and pointed out that the very reason for setting up the International College in 2000 was to reverse the trend of brain drain. The speech gained applause from the participating presidents.
